MICROWAVE SERVICES
Radio Dynamics uses its OpenLink software to perform microwave engineering services.
OpenLink consists of a suite of powerful engineering tools
for frequency planning and protection for point-to-point microwave and satellite earth
stations using Radio Dynamics comprehensive, nationwide database.
We are pleased to offer you the following microwave engineering services:
Calculation of path reliability level based upon a given set of
path design parameters.
- Interference Analysis
Detailed frequency search to identify available frequencies
for a proposed microwave path based on customer-provided parameters. The study includes a
search of all combinations of frequencies and polarization. Alternate parameters such as
antenna or equipment changes may also be studied to maximize frequency availability.
- Frequency Coordination
Includes frequency coordination for the proposed path with
existing and prior-coordinated microwave paths. This service includes issuing Prior
Coordination Notices (PCNs), resolving interference case disputes, issuing a Supplemental
Showing and necessary FCC license exhibits.
- FCC License Application
Includes completing the Form 601 application and all
necessary supporting documentation. RDC could also be used as a technical contact should
the FCC have any questions concerning any technical data contained within an application
completed by RDC.
On-going monitoring of client paths for interference from new
paths or modifications to existing microwave systems.
- Database Research
Comprehensive, nationwide databases of microwave paths, satellite
earth stations, antennas and equipment available for custom database research.
Includes map terrain study, field verification of path end point
coordinates and terrain points along path. A comprehensive report of field services
performed will be provided.
A Key RDC
Discriminator: While other companies may have the technical expertise to perform
interference analyses and path design, only RDC's state-of-the-art software product,
OpenLink, allows the client to directly and personally
oversee RDC's progress, remotely, by using Internet access into RDC server facilities.
Preferred clients are able to perform path queries by accessing the RDC OpenLink path database for all of their paths designed and/or evaluated by
RDC. This allows the client to monitor RDC's status and inspect the results AT NO
ADDITIONAL COST.
Additionally,
these same clients will be given the ability to perform a variety of
other queries on our comprehensive database including Microwave station, Earth station,
antenna, radio equipment, coordinator, company, and client. This capability truly sets RDC
apart from the competition.
It is our goal at
RDC, and has been our past experience, to consistently
exceed the expectations of our clients. We stand behind all of the services we provide and
will persist until the job is completed to the satisfaction of our client. There are no
hidden costs and we pride ourselves in providing a quick turn-around time to our
customers.
